Electrical Construction Project Manager

Location: North Houston

Reports To: Director of Construction / VP of Operations

Project: Multi-Building Electrical & Dry Utility Infrastructure – 70,000 SF Flex Development

Position Summary:

The Electrical Construction Project Manager (PM) will oversee all phases of electrical and dry utility infrastructure deployment for a large-scale, multi-tenant commercial development. The PM will be responsible for pre-construction planning, subcontractor management, utility coordination, budgeting, scheduling, compliance with Entergy and municipal codes, and successful delivery of all primary and secondary power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full project lifecycle from kickoff through closeout across 10 buildings and 32 tenant suites
  • Coordinate with Entergy and local AHJs for dry utility compliance, permitting, and inspections
  • Direct oversight of trenching, conduit installation, transformer pad construction, and secondary distribution systems
  • Manage the installation of house panels, meter bases, gutters, lighting, disconnects, and low-voltage raceways
  • Administer project budget, change orders, subcontractor agreements, and cost controls
  • Drive schedule adherence, resource planning, and logistics, including temporary power, Conex storage, and field technology use
  • Collaborate with field superintendents, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality assurance
  • Ensure all work meets NEC, Entergy standards, safety regulations, and local code requirements

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience managing commercial or light industrial electrical infrastructure projects
  • Proven track record in utility coordination, trenching, conduit systems, and power distribution
  • Proficient with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
  • Strong financial and contract management skills
  • OSHA 30 and PMP or equivalent certification preferred
