JOB DESCRIPTION – GROUNDS GARDEN VENUE MANAGER

Job Title: Grounds Garden Venue Manager

Job Type: Full-Time – 8 AM to 5 PM with a 1-hour lunch break – In-Person

Location: Holistic Garden Venue, Davie, Florida

Compensation Package

● $20 – $25 per hour

● PTO available after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period

● Full-time position (typically 5 days/week; must be available on weekends)

● Flexibility for evenings and holidays depending on the event calendar

Job Overview

Holistic Garden Venue is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish), experienced, and heart-centered Grounds Garden Venue Manager to lead our on-site Nursery & Events Venue Bonsai Center. This vital full-time role ensures every event runs harmoniously.

What You’ll Do

● Manage pre-event preparations by ensuring the venue is set up and aligned with event timelines and appearance standards

● Maintain and organize event inventory, ensuring all items are readily available, efficiently managed, and properly stored

● Pick up orders and supplies prior to events to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory

● Create and manage schedules for external team members responsible for venue setup and pre-event operations

● Coordinate staffing, equipment, and logistics for efficient and timely movement of rentals and tent setups

● Lead on-site team members with professionalism and clarity before events

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time, preserving a smooth guest experience

● Track and manage scheduling, venue maintenance, and grounds across the sanctuary for all upcoming events

● Monitor garden spaces regularly to ensure the landscaping team is maintaining plant health, cleanliness, and aesthetic excellence

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

● 5+ years of experience in grounds management, maintenance, or landscaping equipment operation

● Strong organizational and basic computer skills

● Fluent in English

● No criminal background

● Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have reliable transportation

● Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities

● Comfortable navigating fast-paced event environments and managing last-minute changes

● Physically capable of handling event logistics and extended on-site hours

● Has mechanical/construction experience is highly-preferred.
