What Were Looking For

Were seeking an experienced and motivated Immigration Paralegal who is ready to jump into a fast-paced, meaningful role.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 2-3 years of experience in immigration law (knowledge of humanitarian immigration cases like VAWA, U visas, and T visas is highly desirable).
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office and can quickly adapt to legal software systems.
  • Has excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Is empathetic and capable of working with sensitive topics and vulnerable populations.
  • Is detail-oriented and thrives in a highly structured and collaborative team environment.
  • Is fluent in Spanish (Written and Verbal).

Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Communicating with clients to gather information, clarify details, and finalize legal packets for humanitarian applications (e.g., VAWA, T visa, Adjustment of Status).
  • Editing affidavits and immigration forms as requested by attorneys.
  • Monitoring deadlines, court appearances, and filing applications with USCIS.
  • Performing legal research to support attorneys.
  • Ensuring client cases are handled efficiently and compassionately.
  • Collaborating with a highly structured and dynamic team with a positive attitude.
