Seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Information Technology and Operations to lead the company’s technology and operational initiatives. This executive-level role ensures that the company is equipped with the right IT resources, infrastructure, internal controls, and customer service standards to support ongoing business operations and growth. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep technical knowledge, strong business acumen, and the ability to inspire high performance across teams.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement IT and operational strategies aligned with business objectives. Identify current and future technology needs and make strategic recommendations to stakeholders. Serve as liaison across departments to ensure efficient technology use, customer service, and project execution. Provide leadership, vision, and direction to IT and operations teams, including performance management. Develop, implement, and maintain information policies and standards. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit processes. Oversee the efficient operation of all IT systems including software, hardware, cloud services, and network infrastructure. Manage and optimize the IT and Customer Service budget to ensure cost-effective operations. Review and approve departmental invoices and purchase decisions. Lead vendor management activities, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring. Ensure IT practices meet contract, regulatory, and industry standards. Oversee cybersecurity strategies to safeguard sensitive financial and customer data. Supervise project progress and lead internal team meetings. Required Qualifications: Education & Knowledge Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. Deep expertise in IT systems, infrastructure, and operations. Knowledge of industry best practices, compliance standards, and project management. Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, CompTIA+, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or similar certifications. Experience: Minimum of 7 years in IT management, ideally within the financial sector. Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale IT projects.
