Job Title: Pipe Welder

Job Description

Seeking skilled pipe welders with expertise in TIG, MIG, and flux welding for a Night shift position. Work hours are from 5pm to 4am, with an additional 8-hour shift on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
• Select appropriate welding equipment or methods based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Align components using tools like calipers and rulers, and clamp pieces securely.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
• Expertise in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience in pipe welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
