About Us:

At EZ Software Solutions, LLC, we’re on a mission to modernize point-of-sale experiences for businesses in the food, retail, and hospitality sectors. We're looking for a driven Product Owner/Product Manager to bridge the gap between our sales/product vision and the development team's execution.

Role Overview:

As a key link between cross-functional teams, you’ll own the product development lifecycle—from backlog grooming to sprint execution—ensuring our POS solutions meet customer and market needs.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business goals and sales feedback into actionable user stories and detailed requirements.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Plan and lead sprint cycles with the development team to ensure the timely delivery of features.
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact between product/sales and engineering.
• Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Please track progress using Jira and make sure all documentation and tickets are clear, complete, and up-to-date.
• Attend and actively participate in all weekly sales and development meetings.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in POS, retail tech, restaurant tech, or a related industry vertical.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.
• Proven experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Jira proficiency is a must.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration experience is a must.

Bonus:

• Experience working directly with sales teams to translate customer needs into product features.
• Background in software used by SMBs, restaurants, or retail operations.
