The Public Safety Ambassador provides assistance, information, and ensures the safety and security of patients, guests, staff, and physicians at University Health. They serve as a positive representative, supporting service excellence and guest relations policies while patrolling the property. Their role combines customer service and safety to maintain a secure and welcoming healthcare environment.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides service, information, and aid to the patients, guests, staff, and physicians of University Health. Serves as a positive representative of University Health and supports University Health’s Commitment to Service Excellence standards. Responds to requests for assistance and provides patrol of property to ensure the safety and security of life and property of patients, visitors, staff, and physicians on all property owned, leased, rented, or otherwise under the jurisdiction and control of University Health. Promotes the organization’s Guest Relations Policy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma/GED and three years of experience or 15 semester hours toward a college degree are required. Three years of experience in a related field such as customer service, security, detention, or loss prevention is preferred.
