Title: Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer - C/C++
Location: Waukesha, WI (Onsite)
Duration: Fulltime/Permanent
Responsibilities
Skills/Tasks requirements
• Experience in Medical systems particularly in CT (Computed Tomography)
• Identify legacy items still dependent on code residing in ClearCase
• Migrate ClearCase code to Gitlab environment and integrate artifact delivery to latest process
• Migrate CT applications to latest VxWorks 7 platform and test with seamless integration and delivery into existing products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams after identifying dependencies to perform effective migrations managing all dependencies
• Take ownership of tasks and deliver, submitting merge requests while helping team members through programming and code reviews
• Perform impact assessment, document verification plans, and organize/execute formal code verification for releases
Qualifications we seek in you!
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or in related STEM Major
• 10+ years of C/C++ experience in embedded software development
• Experience successfully migrating code bases from clearcase to Gitlab environment and testing for effective migration
• Experience with build pipelines, build infrastructure, and formal verification test execution and planning

• C, C++, Python Programming, Linux, VxWorks, Clearcase, Gitlab, Sonar
• Strong analytical, DevOps, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• ALM/JAMA, MyWorkshop
• GNU Make and CMake experience

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
