As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the client's program. Your skills in systems architecture, communications equipment, and network requirements will be vital when installing and maintaining systemic solutions to meet your customer’s needs. You will gain experience in operational meteorology and air traffic control systems while supporting the safe conduct of flight operations on the Antarctic continent. You will be a valued member of a small team of highly skilled engineers where your contributions will be critical to the team’s success. You will gain valuable experience designing and fielding navigation and communications systems in harsh, remote environments. This position requires travel to Antarctica. You Have: 6+ years of experience in Aviation Command and Control Field, 3+ years of experience in support of Aviation Command and Control projects, Knowledge of a radar system, communications system, networking equipment, and SATCOM, Ability to travel to Antarctica for up to 4 weeks annually, Ability to pass an Antarctic deployment physical exam, Ability to obtain a Secret clearance, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Network Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. Nice If You Have: Experience using one or more of shipboard URN-33 or TACAN systems, High-Frequency radio systems, Very-High Frequency or Ultra-High Frequency radio communication systems, Ubiquiti network equipment, or Rhode-Schwartz or Frequentis communications system equipment, Experience in Aviation Ground Electronics Systems, Secret clearance, Master's degree in Computer Science, or Systems, Network, or Electrical Engineering, Security+ certification.
