About the Role: The Corporate Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance across complex corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and investment structures. Working closely with senior leadership and investment professionals, this role ensures legal alignment in key business decisions while mitigating risks associated with global investments. Key Responsibilities: Advise on corporate governance, fund formation, and securities regulations Draft and negotiate investment agreements, regulatory filings, and contracts Oversee legal risks related to mergers, acquisitions, and financial transactions Collaborate with internal stakeholders across investment, finance, and operations teams Monitor regulatory developments affecting global investment firms Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: 5 -10 years of corporate legal experience, preferably in investment management or financial services Background: Prior experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house counsel at an investment firm, hedge fund, or financial institution Expertise: Strong knowledge of securities laws, corporate governance, and financial regulations Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree; admission to a state bar required Only those candidates local to Boston, MA or New York City will be considered.
