We are in search of paid summer interns to join our NYC Promotions & Marketing department. Our NYC brands include WHTZ-FM (Z100 New York), WKTU-FM (103.5 KTU), WLTW-FM (106.7 Lite FM), WAXQ-FM (Q104.3 & NY Jets Radio Network), WWPR-FM (Power 105.1), WOR-AM (710 WOR), WWRL-AM (1600 BIN), iHeartRadio Broadway. The ideal candidate will be a current college student with a strong interest in promotions, field marketing, experiential marketing, event production, and advertising. Responsibilities include assisting full time/part time employees in promoting iHeartRadio New York radio stations and sponsors at various events and locations, assisting with event production and execution, assisting on-site at major station tent-pole events, administrative duties, and contest fulfillment including entering winner information, contacting winners, and delivering or shipping prizes. Requirements include being an enrolled college/university student, familiarity with the NYC Metropolitan Area, night & weekend availability including holidays, ability to work minimum 15 hours/week, reliable transportation to East Rutherford, NJ and Manhattan, knowledge of stations and demographics, knowledge of the iHeartRadio app, ability to work in a team, ability to lift at least 50 lbs, energetic and outgoing personality comfortable hosting large crowds, and prior brand ambassador or event experience is a plus.
